Newaygo Online Auctions are a new, useful and fun way to bring buyers and sellers together. Anyone may put items up for auction or bid on items available. Auction Features:

• Auctions can run 1-14 days at the choice of the seller.
• Registration is required to post or bid. Passwords are Emailed to registrants. This insures that buyers and sellers are using valid email addresses.
• You may include as many words as neccessary to describe your item along with pictures and HTML mark-up in the auction description.
• The system also supports reserve pricing, if the last bid on your item is less than your reserve, you are not obligated to sell it.
• The system supports proxy bidding. What this means is you enter your maximum bid and the system will automatically bid against others until your maximum is reached. Your maximum bis is kept secret. Not even we at Newaygo Online can tell what your maximum bid is.
• The system also supports feedback. When a transaction is completed buyers and sellers may post positive, neutral or negative feedback. This gives future buyers and sellers info about the track record of auction users.
• All closed auction data is kept for a period of 60 days past the close of that peticular auction.
• When an auction's time expires it is closed and Emails are sent to the seller and the high bidder with the each others registration info, and the high bid price.
• It is up to the high bidder and seller to complete the transaction.

These rules are necessary to protect all buyers and sellers. If you have any suggestions feel free to send them to auctions@newaygo-online.com.

• Once Items are place up for bid they cannot be withdrawn or edited. Double check your auction information and don't post the item unless you want to sell it.
• Bids can and will not be withdrawn. Do not bid on a item if you don't want to buy it.
• Pornographic materials and other obscene materials may not be auctioned off.
• Do not post false or misleading info about your items.
• Because this auction is intended for Newaygo County Residents sellers must give the option to the high bidder to meet with them, wether it be at a residence or public place and at the seller's convenience. If the high bidder offers to meet with the seller and the seller refuses the high bidder may choose to not honor his or her bid.
• Bidding on your own auctions is not allowed.
• Registration info is sent to the high bidder and seller only. Your names and addresses are otherwise kept confidential.

• Use the feedback system to address all complaints about buyers and sellers
• Give people time to answer emails before posting negative feedback. Some people don't check their email every day.
• If you post negative feedback and the siuation is rectified, post additional feedback stating this.
• If your selling an item that people may want to contact you or visit to check out the item up for bid, take this into consideration when you choose how many days the auction will run.
• Check a persons feedback before bidding. If a person has negative feedback check the feedback of the person that posted the negative feedback to see if they are reputable.
• Feel free to email sellers if you have questions before bidding.

• Newaygo reserves the right to change or modify these rules at anytime and for any reason.
• This auction service is to bring buyers and sellers together. Newaygo Online has nothing to do with the transaction or validity of the items.
